Adam Bura Cooley, 47, of Salem, AL died at his home on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 (CST) on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Dixonville Full Gospel Community Church, 9851 Travis Road, Brewton, AL 36426.

Born on October 7, 1976, in Milton, FL, Adam was the beloved son of Jasper and Deborah Smith Cooley. Growing up in Berrydale, FL alongside his four brothers and one sister, he attended Jay Elementary and later Jay High School. Adam was a true outdoorsman who cherished moments spent hunting and fishing with loved ones. His passion for nature extended to tending his vegetable garden, raising chickens, and preparing meals to share with family and friends.
 
 Above all else in his life was his precious daughter, Alyssa Rose Cooley; the love he held for her was immeasurable. Adam's warm heart and infectious spirit endeared him to all who knew him.

We will miss Adam in our lives as he left us too soon, but we will continue to share all the wonderful memories of him. 

Adam was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Irene Cooley and maternal grandparents, Bura and Mildred Smith. A great-aunt, Mary Russell, a cousin, Aubrey Cooley and a stepson, CJ Wilson. 

Besides his parents, Jasper and Deborah Cooley, Adam is survived by his wife, Karen Wilson-Cooley, Salem, AL; daughter, Alyssa Rose Cooley; two step-children, Tyler and Haley; four brothers, Damian Cooley (Alesha), Scott Cooley (Angie), Josh Cooley (Amanda) and Logan Cooley (Carmen); one sister, Angie Cooley Ladnier (John); nieces and nephews, Devon, Jacob, Lakelyn, Taylor, Jennifer and Savanna; several other family members and friends.
