Albert "Daniel" Holland

Albert “Daniel” Holland, 73, of Ashford, AL passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Fort Gaines Heath and Rehab.

Daniel was born April 11, 1943 to the late Albert Holland and Ester Boothe Holland; he had worked as a truck driver for several different companies.  He enjoyed playing music and sharing good times with family and friends.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army.  Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Holland and a brother, Leon Holland.

He is survived by two sisters, Mary Ella Thompson and husband Jackie and Matha Blankenship and husband Ray; nieces and nephews, Sharon Simpson, Tammy Mathis, Penney Williams, Freddie Holland, Lamar Holland and Lori, Randy Blankenship and Dawn, and Steve Blankenship and Vickie, and numerous other loving and caring family members.

Private services are to be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery.
