Alton Blackston, Sr.

Mr. Alton Blackston, Sr., 78, of Columbus, GA died at his residence on January 27, 2021.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Mr. Blackston was born September 30, 1942 in Mauk, GA son of the late Leonard Blackston and Mattie Bell Watson Blackston. We will always cherish his memories in our hearts.
Mr. Blackston was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patti Ann Collier Blackston and a son, Stephen Bentley Blackston.
Survivors include his son, Alton Blackston, Jr. (Debbie), Columbus, GA; two sisters, Barbara Gauthier and Sandra Martin; sister-in-law, Carolyn Blackston all of Phenix City, AL; several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
