Annie Bell Warren

Annie Bell Warren, 92, of Columbus, GA passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Peachtree City, GA .  A funeral service will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 beginning at 11:00 A.M. EST, with Mike Reeves and Brian Anderson officiating.  The interment will conclude the service at Parkhill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday, March 26, 2018 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. EST.  

Annie Bell Warren was born March 24, 1925 in Rome, GA to the parents of Phin Lindsey and Lela Agan Lindsey.  Annie was a longtime member of Second Avenue Baptist Church in Columbus, GA and also attended Grace Baptist Church in Sharpsburg, AL. She was a spinner with Bibb City Mill where she retired in 1990 after 42 years of employment . Annie was also an active volunteer at the Open Door Community House for sixteen years.

Other than her parents, Annie is predeceased by her sister, Helen Hohl; two brothers, Lamar and P.L. Lindsey and her two sisters-in-law, Willene and Lemma Lindsey.

Survivors include her son, Wayne Warren (Hazel) of Sharpsburg, GA; her granddaughter, Mandy Corso (Jeff) of Hampton, GA; two great-grandchildren, Jesse and Molly Corso and numerous nieces and nephews.
