Barbara Farr Davis

Barbara Farr Davis, 73, of Columbus, GA, passed away peacefully in her home on May 18, 2025. There are no services to announce at this time.

Barbara was born in Ft. Benning, GA, on February 8, 1952, to the late Ira Henderson Farr and Dorothy Elizabeth Farr. After graduating from high school, she became a cosmetologist and later began working as an insurance representative for Aflac until joining her family business as a receptionist. Barabara married the love of her life, Jerry Davis, and remained his devoted and loving wife for 33 years until his passing. She had a bubbly personality and treated others with kindness and compassion. She was always gentle spirited unless she was making sure her son stayed in line which led to her showing her feisty side. Barbara loved her animals and her family most of all. When she had the opportunity, she enjoyed traveling to Fort Walton Beach, FL, to visit her sister. In her free time, she could never pass up watching General Hospital. Barbara was strong-willed and could do anything she put her mind to. Barbara will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Barbara Davis is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Davis; and parents, Ira Henderson Farr and Dorothy Elizabeth Farr. Barbara is survived by her sons, Casey Davis and Jason Davis; sister, Catherine Farr; brothers, Ira Farr (Gail), Bo Farr (Wanda), Ed Farr (Sarah), Tom Farr, and Bob Farr; and special friends, Trey and Heather Haymans, and Matt and Ashley Hall.
