Betty Jeanette Jaworski, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on April 26, 2025, in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia. She was born on November 23, 1935, to Frank B. Gruber and Alberta W. Walker Gruber. Throughout her life, Jeanette embodied a spirit of love and kindness that touched everyone who had the honor of knowing her. A funeral service to honor Jeanette's life will take place at 11 AM on Thursday May 1, 2025 at Vance Brooks Columbus 4048 Macon Rd. Columbus, Georgia 31907 with Pastor Todd Quintard officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior at the same location. Interment will take place at Parkhill Cemetery immediately following the funeral service. Pallbearers for the service will be Allen Taft, Scott Taft, Brody Taft, Fisher Taft, Joey Adams, and Josh Adams.

For over 20 years, Jeanette dedicated her professional life as a bookkeeper for Morgan Lawnmowers, a family business, pouring care and diligence into every task until she took a well-earned retirement.Jeanette's life extended far beyond her career. She was a longtime member of Golden Acres Baptist Church and devoted to her faith. Known as a prayer warrior, her commitment to serving the Lord was unwavering and started at a very young age. Her gentle demeanor and loving heart were a source of solace to those around her.An avid member of the Red Hat Society for several years, she cherished the experiences she had there. Jeanette possessed an exceptional talent in the kitchen; she was renowned for her baking skills, particularly for her famed “Mama’s” dressing, biscuits, and coconut cake. Her treats brought joy to many gatherings, and her nurturing spirit won the hearts of everyone she met.

Jeanette's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her family and her unwavering faith. She was her grandchildren's biggest cheerleader, never missing a chance to attend their sports events, cheering them on with enthusiasm. The love she exhibited toward her family was a testament to her character; it was evident in her gentle care and the support she provided to each of them through life’s challenges and celebrations.

Family was at the center of Jeanette's world, and she poured unconditional love into each of her children. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Waddell (Emory), Kay Peaden, Brenda Clark (Bobby), Linda Perry (William), and Patricia Davis (Danny), and her son, Andy Peaden (Nicole); her stepchildren, Rex Morgan (Rothie) and Brenda Crum; her beloved grandchildren Casey Waddell (Jessica), Amanda Martin (Wesley), Allen Taft, Scott Taft (Maria), April Cooley, Charity Carpenter (Grant), Joey Adams (Kelley), Josh Adams (Kristen), Aaron Michael Martin — along with several step-grandchildren and an expanding legacy of 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.She is preceded in death by her loving parents, her husbands — Curtis Peaden, Noel Morgan, and Donald Jaworski — and her stepdaughter, Robin Pearson.

Beloved by many, Betty Jeanette Jaworski will be greatly missed. Her sweet, loving nature and the warmth she shared will continue to resonate in the hearts of all those she has left behind.
