Beverly Amelia Davis

Beverly Amelia Davis, 79, of Phenix City, AL passed away early Sunday morning, May 4, 2025, at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am EDT, Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Dr. Stephen Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to her funeral service on Thursday at the funeral home in Phenix City.

Mrs. Davis was born October 17, 1945, in Troup County, GA, daughter of the late Paul Milford Fulghum and Julia Myrtle Pike Fulghum. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose joy was fulfilling her duties as a true homemaker. She truly loved the outdoors, especially traveling and visiting her favorite place in the mountains at Pigeon Forge in Tennessee. She enjoyed listening to Gospel music, cooking, and arranging flowers. She was a lady of great character, a Christian who loved her Lord and Savior, and a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Phenix City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Paige Davis.

Left to cherish her memories is her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Charles B. Davis of Phenix City, Al; one son, Jody Davis and wife Amy of Smiths Station, AL; two precious grandchildren, Luke Andrew Davis, and Mallory Rebekah Davis; several cousins, other extended loving family members, church family, and many caring friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Columbus Hospice House in loving memory of Mrs. Beverly Davis.
