Billy Ray Kelley

Billy Ray Kelley, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital. Graveside services will be held at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, GA on Thursday, November 17, 2022 beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ricky Ward officiating. Arrangements are being handled through Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Columbus.

Billy was born on December 3rd, 1935 in Griffin, GA, to the late Felix and Anna Kelley. Billy was a beloved husband, father, and Popa who touched the lives of many. He served 24 years in the United States Army and retired a Vietnam Veteran on July 31, 1978 in Fort Benning, GA, all service being held in Intelligence and Security Command.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his sister Omie Goins and two brothers Jack Kelley and Grover Parson.

He is survived by his wife, Hannelore Kelley; his daughter, Angie Singleton; his grandchildren, Troy Busby, Justin Busby, Tiffany Williams and Stephanie Barber; his great-grandchildren, Hartley Busby, Sara Grace Busby, Marisa Dibble, Jacob Wayne Busby, William Kyle Van Noy, Jaden Busby, Caden Blaze Barber, and William Caise Barber; and his great-great-grandchildren, Kensly Busby and Zackariah Subar.
