Brenda Grant Johnson, 77, of Phenix City, AL died at her home on Sunday, June 02, 2024.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 PM (EST) on Friday, June 07, 2024 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Wallace Ratliff, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home.

Brenda was born September 02, 1946 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Raymond Lee Grant and Annie Mae Dill Grant. She had a fulfilling life, marked by her unwavering faith, dedication to her family, and involvement in various organizations.

Brenda earned a degree in nursing and worked as a nurse after graduating. Brenda's commitment to helping others extended beyond her profession, as she volunteered her time generously, making a positive impact on the lives of many.

In addition to her nursing career, Brenda was an active member of the Christian Women's Association, where she found solace in her faith and formed lasting friendships. She was deeply committed to her role in the association and actively participated in its events and initiatives.

Outside of her professional and community endeavors, Brenda enjoyed dancing, bowling, and decorating. She had a vibrant personality and never hesitated to strike up a conversation with anyone she met. Brenda's friendly and talkative nature earned her the reputation of "never meeting a stranger."

One of Brenda's most cherished places in the world was her lake house, where she found solace and tranquility. It was there that she enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones, creating lasting memories. She valued spending time with her family and treasured her role as a grandmother to her three beloved grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Brenda made a positive impact on the lives of those around her. She was known for always having a kind word and offering support to anyone in need. She was involved in various community organizations, including Mothers against Drunk Driving, Save A Pet, and the Christian Women's Association.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ann Grant and her first husband, George H. Johnson, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth John Price, Phenix City, AL; two children, Leslie Harris (David) and George Henry Johnson, III (Morgan); two stepchildren, Michelle Thomas (Tim) and C.J. Price; one sister, Shirley Ratliff (Wallace); three grandchildren, Rae Harris, Kacie Harris and Kamryn Elise Johnson; a special niece, Kim Lightsey and nephew, Wallace J. Ratliff, III; her fur babies, Karley and PJ; several other family members and friends.
