Bruce Titterington

Bruce M. Titterington, 74, of Hopewell, VA died on December 01, 2025, while at Piedmont Columbus Midtown, Columbus, GA with his family by his side.

A private Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

Mr. Titterington was born May 16, 1951, in Richmond, VA son of the late James “Jimmy” M. Titterington and Judy Futch Titterington. He was a 1969 Graduate of Hopewell Highschool. Mr. Titterington was employed by the Department of Defense for several years. He was a 32nd Degree Freemason and a member of the A.F. & A.M. Dupont Lodge # 289 in Hopewell, VA where he had served as Worshipful Master. This was a position that he was honored and proud to hold. Mr. Titterington was also a talented Tenor who sang with several Barber Shop Quartets. He was a faithful fan of the Washington Nationals and the Washington Redskins. Mr. Titterington also enjoyed watching old Western movies.

We will remember him as a quite man who was very private but committed to his country and his family.

Survivors include his sister, Paige Titterington Wray (Richard), Smiths Station, AL and a niece, Shawndra Rhodes (A.W.), Phenix City, AL; one great-niece, Carley Rhodes, Phenix City, AL.
