Calvin Aubrey Lake

Calvin Aubrey Lake, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away Monday, June 24, 2024 at the age of 41. The family will receive friends, Friday, June 28, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. with the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Cobb officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens at 2:30 pm EDT (1:30 pm CDT) in Phenix City, AL. Calvin is preceded in death by his sister Mandy Williams. 

He is survived by his wife Jesseaka Lake; mother Denise Owens Edmisten; father Randall Lake; children Charleigh Anne Lake, Coleman Aubrey Lake, Forrest Lee Battle, Hunter Steven Battle, Paxson Ward; siblings Brandon Lake, Ambre Lake, Jenny Fritz; and his Aunt “Nay” Owens-Majors. Pallbearers will be William Woodall, Thomas Fails, David Jackson, Clark Cantley, Cody Hayes, and Ben Ready. He was an Avid Auburn fan, and bass fisherman. Calvin also was a National Award winning speed skate. He enjoyed tractors and was the winner of several tractor pulls. Above all, Calvin had a deep abiding love for his children.
