Mrs. Carol Davis

Carol Davis, age 78, resident of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Phenix City Healthcare, Phenix City, Alabama.  Graveside services are scheduled at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, 1 p.m. with Reverend Robb Goodman officiating, according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 US Hwy 431N/280W, Phenix City, Alabama.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 5-7 p.m.

Mrs. Davis, daughter of the late Harry Fennell and Helen Brinker Fennell, was born February 16, 1943 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.  She was retired from Phenix City Healthcare where she had faithfully worked for several years. Mrs. Davis was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed flowers, writing and receiving correspondence, and cooking.  But most of all, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Many remember her as someone who looked forward to helping friends and co-workers.  The family remembers her as a loving and kind-hearted lady.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Louise Back, Dorothy McIlvaine, Alice Felmlee, Lillian Parson and grandson Michael Davis.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 57 years, George Marion Davis, Sr. of Phenix City; three sons, George Davis, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Columbus, Georgia, CMSgt (USAF Ret) Johnny Davis and his wife Angela of Prattville, Alabama, and Chris Davis and his wife Shaunna of Phenix City; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Davis, Jonathan Davis and his wife Lindsey, Joshua Davis, Shelby Davis, and Mahalie Davis; three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Davis, Emery Davis, and Cameron Davis; several nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
