Carol Reynolds Henry

Mrs. Carol Reynolds Henry, 64, of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at the Piedmont Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm EST, Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Buddy Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Henry was born June 2, 1961 in Ft. Benning, GA, daughter of the late Sidney W. Reynolds and Peggy Yawn Reynolds. She enjoyed working in her garden and canning the fruits and vegetables that she grew. Additionally, Mrs. Henry also enjoyed camping and knitting. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband George Calvin Hawkins and a great-grandson, Stefan Elijah Taylorson.

Mrs. Henry is survived by her husband of 19 years, James Henry; a daughter, Robin Taylorson and husband Daniel; a son, Thomas George Hawkins and wife Samantha; step-sons, Jay Henry and wife Jan and Jeff Henry and wife Kemi; sisters, Joyce Coleman and husband Charlie, Cheryl Lively and husband Rick, Donna Strickland and husband James Earl and Denise McAndrew and husband Mike; brothers, Mitchell Reynolds and wife Judy and Danny Ray Reynolds and wife Cendy; grandchildren, Malix Taylorson, Zoey Taylorson, Levi Taylorson, Dimitri Hawkins, Celes Hawkins, Sofia Hawkins, Scarlette Hawkins, George Hawkins, William Hawkins, Cole Henry (Brinley), Cade Henry and Cason Henry; several extended family members and friends.
