Carole Fuller Daniel, 78, of Smiths Station, AL passed away Saturday evening, June 15, 2024, in the comfort of her home while surrounded by her loving family.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am EDT on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Grant Parker officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City. The family will receive friends for 10:00 to 11:00 am EDT, one hour prior to her graveside service at the funeral home in Phenix City.
Mrs. Daniel was born January 4, 1946, in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late James Monroe Fuller and Annie Mae Britton Fuller. She was employed with Sun Trust with 28 years of dedicated service, making a difference to both her co-workers and her many customers. She loved shopping at flea markets, yard sales, and what not shops, she loved her cats, fishing, tending to her daylilies, and watching the many hummingbirds that visited. She was a Christian and attended Epworth Methodist Church in Phenix City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Thery James “Jamie” McKissic.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Ralph Ellis Daniel of Smiths Station, AL; children, Thomas Monroe McKissic and wife Norah of Adel, GA, and Ronnie Lee Daniel of Oak Grove, KY; daughter-in-law, Robbin McKissic of Phenix City, AL; two sisters, Sandra Noe of Montgomery, AL, and Rebecca Coreno and husband Richard of Phenix City, AL; three grandchildren, Margaret “Mandy” McKissic, Rutland McKissic and Summer, and Kelsey Daniel, and two precious great-grandchildren, Isabel McKissic and Annabeth McKissic; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many caring friends.
