Carolyn Joyce Davis

Carolyn Joyce Davis, 89, of Cusseta, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at her residence in Cusseta, Georgia.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home – Columbus, with Reverend Mark Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Vance Brooks Funeral Home – Columbus with interment and committal at Parkhill Cemetery.

Mrs. Davis was born on September 16, 1932, in Macon, Georgia, the daughter of William and Lorena Prather. She worked for Lotus Industrial for many years. Miss Davis was Baptist by faith. She loved all children but especially her grandchildren. She was always busy in the yard working in her garden or caring for her beloved dogs, Baby and Rodie. Carolyn was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Davis.

She is survived by two daughters, Grace (Mike Clark) Harralson, and Tina (Bobby) Gray; two sons, David (Brenda) Brady, and James Lee (Judy) Brady; three grandsons, Billy (Kari) Findley, Ray (Katie) Harralson, and Robert Findley; two granddaughters, Heather (Mark) Mashburn, and Tracy Chiodo; as well as several extended family and caring friends.
