Charles Douglas Curtis

Charles Douglas Curtis, 69, of Columbus, GA passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown. Graveside services will be held at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 beginning at 11:30 AM. Arrangements are being handled through Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Columbus.

Charles was born on October 6, 1953 in Delaware, Ohio. He proudly served his country for several years in the United States Army. After retiring from the military, he was employed by Char-Broil where he worked as a forklift driver. Charles was a good man with a loving and generous heart. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Charles is preceded in death by his father Leonard Allen. He is survived by his significant other for over 30 years Barbara Wisnasky; daughters Regina Dahl of Ft. Mitchell, AL, Christina Curtis Cole of Columbus, GA, and Loretta Bailey of Texas; grandchildren Patrick Burtis, Sabreana Torres, Jasper Dahl, and Carmen Cole; mother Rosalea Williams of Ohio; and sister Pam Adbon of Delaware, OH.
