Charles Irvin Bales

Charles Irvin Bales, 61, of Columbus, GA passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA.  A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.  

Mr. Bales was born September 18, 1955 in Fayetteville, NC to Charles Wayne Bales and Virgie Bertha Davis Bales.  He was a member of Beallwood Church of God. He retired as a truck driver from Fairburn Ready Mix.  He loved cars.  He was a loving husband, father and pop.

Survivors include his loving wife of twelve years, Joan E. Savage Bales; daughters:  Jody Davis (Alex Acevedo) and Keri Hall (Sherick Maddox) of Columbus, GA; sons:  Lee Bales of Griffin, GA, Jason Bales of Newnan, GA, and Ken Hall (Jenna) of Phenix City, Al; one sister, Loretta Hernandez (Amado) of Stockbridge, GA; a brother, Ted Bales (Dianne) of McDonough, GA; and six grandchildren.
