Charlotte Paul

On July 20, 2021, Charlotte Elaine Paul entered her final rest and met her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM (EST) Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. The interment will be at a later date in Crawford Cemetery.

Charlotte was born to O.H. and Christine Baker, on December 9,1952, at Bush Hospital in Columbus, GA. She was the youngest of 4 children. She had two sisters, Mary Ann and Peggy. And one brother Charles.

Charlotte and her family were longtime residents of Crawford in Russell County Alabama. She married her true love, John Robert Paul, on March 14, 1970. He was always by her side through their 51 years of marriage. In September of 1971, their one and only child, Kellie Elaine was born. Kellie married Michael Schroeder in 1999. Then, in April of 2002, their one and only precious granddaughter, Mary Elaine was born. She brought her MawMaw and PawPaw an immeasurable amount of joy. And to this day, Charlotte, is still called MawMaw by those who know and love her most. Being a mama and MawMaw was her greatest joy.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, her sister Mary Ann, and her brother Charles.
