Christina Toole

Christina Toole, age 44, resident of Salem, Alabama, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 7, 2022.  A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be at The Summit Church – Valley, 103 Church Street, Valley, Alabama on Thursday, May 12, 2022, 4 p.m. EST with Pastor Rick McCormick, Pastor Mark Messer, and Brother Chris Thompkins officiating, according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, Alabama.  The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 3-4 p.m EST.

Christina, daughter of James Lee Agan and Debra Dian Verner Agan, was born April 14, 1978 in Carrolton, Georgia.  She was a Loan Officer for Opelika Finance for many years, and was an active member of His House Church, Smiths Station, Alabama.  Christina loved to love; loved to worship Jesus and tell of His goodness.  Her smile was contagious, and her laughter was pure medicine to your soul.

Christina enjoyed taking trips to the beach.  She always looked forward to spending time with her family and friends at her pool – loved to entertain and host.  Christina enjoyed many types of music genres but particularly liked praise and worship music as well as country music.  Many times, family members would see her relaxing watching cooking shows on television.  She also enjoyed watching “SpongeBob Square Pants” many times and would always say “Oh I haven’t seen this one!” so we wouldn’t change the channel.

The family remembers Christina as a lady who loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; always witnessed to others what a wonderful Savior He is; and would pray for not only herself, but for others on a continual basis.

Christina was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Mary Emma Agan; paternal grandfather, Arlie Agan; and maternal grandmother, Betty Kelley.  She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Eric Mark Toole of Salem, Alabama; her father James Agan and his wife Cathy of Temple, Georgia; her mother, Debra Dian Owens of Valley, Alabama; one daughter, Alexandrea “Lexi” Toole of Salem, Alabama; one son, “Noah” Chase Toole of Salem, Alabama; one sister, Nancy Faye McCormick and her husband Rick of LaGrange, Georgia; two nieces, Briana Dian Johnson and Elizabeth Rian Johnson, both of LaGrange, Georgia; many other relatives and friends.
