Cynthia E. Jones

Ms. Cynthia E. Jones, 76, of Salem, AL passed away Friday, April 12, 2024 at her home.  

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Ricky Ward officiating.  There will be no formal visitation.

Ms. Jones was born October 2, 1947 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Noah W. Jones and Sara Ellen Gay Williams.  She was a huge Elvis fan that collected numerous pieces of memorabilia over the years.   Ms. Jones insisted that one of her family members had to take her to Mississippi each year to visit the homeplace of Elvis.  She also enjoyed collecting stamps and had a large collection.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald W. Jones.

She is survived by her step-father, Glenn Williams of Salem, AL; a nephew, Eddie D. Jones and wife Linda, as well as their children, Luke, Noah and LynnLee; sister-in-law, Juliette Jones, as well as extended family.
