Cyrus Jonathan “Cassidy” Begley

Cyrus Jonathan “Cassidy” Begley, 22, of Smiths Station, AL passed away at his home on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

A Private Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

Cyrus was born on October 15th, 2003, in Slidell, LA son of Kimberly Christina Bailey and the late Jonathan Edward Begley. He was a very intelligent artist and a joy to be around. He enjoyed creating and telling sessions in Dungeons & Dragons. Even creating a session to play with his friends online. Cyrus also enjoyed video games, drawing, creating pixel art and various styles and ages of music.

Cyrus was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jackie Begley and his father, Jonathan Edward Begley.

Survivors include his paternal grandmother, Ruthie Mae Begley; his mother, Kimberly Christina Bailey; three siblings, Kyla Kristina Begley, Skyler Elyzabeth Begley and Gabriel Smith; several uncles, aunts, cousins and numerous friends.
