David Bruce Hoff, 68, of Phenix City, AL died at his home on Monday, January 26, 2026.
A private Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Mr. Hoff was born March 20, 1957, in Fontainebleau, France son of the late Bernard Jospeh Hoff and Edna Katherine Smith Hoff. He was a roofer by trade and a forklift driver. David was an avid Georgia Football and Atlanta Falcons fan.
We will remember him as a hard worker who did his best to provide for his family. He was also a funny man who enjoyed a practical joke. One example is that he is a “cereal killer”, once he killed a “bug” with a hammer that turned out to be a corn flake. He was always finding ways to make life more fun and adventuresome. Thank you for all of the great memories.
Mr. Hoff was preceded in death by his parents, Benard and Edna Hoff and two sisters, Joyce Hoff and Susan Kreger.
Survivors include his two daughters, Sharon Hoff, MA and Jessica Jordan (Chris), Seale, AL; two sons, Josh Hoff (Stacey), Phenix City, AL and David Blain (Heather), Salem, AL; one sister, Linda Whitley (Stephen), Waverly Hall, GA and one brother, Bernard Joseph Hoff, II; eight grandchildren, Brayden, Peyton, Brock, Kyndal, Brandt, Bence, Brentley and Chandler; several nieces, nephews and friends
