De Arnold "Donnie" Holloway, Sr.

De Arnold “Donnie” Holloway, Sr., 67 of Phenix City, AL, passed away on Friday morning at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm EST on Monday, November 21, 2016, at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Pastor Jammie Holloway officiating. The family will receive friends before the service on Monday starting at 11:00 am EST at Vance Memorial Chapel.

Donnie was born in LaGrange, GA, the son of the late Harvis T. Holloway and the late Minnie Lee Noles Holloway. He worked as a Foreman for Dudley Lumber for over 45 years and enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and his grandchildren.

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Mark Holloway, four brothers, a sister and two grandsons.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ware Holloway; four children, De Arnold Holloway, Jr., wife Roberta, Donna Touart, Carol Clark, husband Richard and Teresa Anderson, husband Larry; three sisters, Joyce Rowden, husband Bill, Betty Harden, husband Frank and Carol Conaway, husband Duke; four brothers Steve Holloway, wife Dana, Gary Holloway, wife Tina, Jerry Holloway, wife Ruth and Terry Holloway; thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; extended family members and many caring friends.
