Dennis A. Morris

Dennis A. Morris, 74, of Seale, AL died at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, GA on Sunday, February 12, 2023.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM (EST) on Friday, February 17, 2023 in Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 9 Hughley Rd, Opelika, AL., according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.  A procession going to the cemetery will leave the funeral home on Friday at 1:20 PM. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM (EST) at the funeral home.

Mr. Morris was born September 18, 1948 in Columbus, GA son of Elise Louise Barton Morris and the late Edlow Morris. He had worked in the Car Sales profession for many years in this area. Mr. Morris also enjoyed restoring antique cars and attending old car shows.  He also had a soft spot for animals as he enjoyed their company. We will miss him greatly, but he will always be in our hearts.

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his father, Edlow Morris and a brother, Arnold Morris.

Survivors other than his mother, Elise Morris, include his long-time companion, Pat McCart; one brother, Crockett Morris; a special niece, Carla Waldrop (Mark); two special aunts, Sheila Burkes and Sue Wofford; sister-in-law, Louise Turner; special friends, Cathy and Helen; four-legged, friend, Daisy; numerous other family members and friends.
