Donna “Kay” Towns, 80, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on December 26, 2025. Services will be held at a later date in Jacksonville, FL.
Kay Towns was born in Jacksonville, FL, on July 24, 1945, to the late Arthur Edwin Parker and Lucille Drury Parker. Mrs. Towns was the devoted and loving wife to her late husband, John Leonard Towns, for 36 years until his passing in June of this year. She took pride in her work as a Chiropractic Assistant at Clay Chiropractic Clinic until retirement. Kay had strong faith and even after disease took her mind, she sang praise to her Lord and Savior. She always looked forward to a fishing trip and enjoyed going camping with her husband. They hooked their Harley trike to the back of their camper and enjoyed the outdoors as often as they could, living life to the fullest. She also enjoyed going to the beach with family and cherished the memories they made. Although she didn’t like country music or bluegrass, she loved going to bluegrass festivals, especially with her brother when he was performing. Mrs. Towns was sweet, kind and loving. Kay will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Other than her parents and husband, Kay Towns is preceded in death by her siblings, Gene Parker, Ray Parker, and Leo Parker.
