Elizabeth Kay Allen

Elizabeth Kay Allen, 60, of Phenix City, AL died at Piedmont Columbus Hospital, Midtown on Thursday, September 17, 2020.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2020 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ms. Allen was born April 25, 1960 in Phenix City, AL daughter of the late Claude Allen and Louise Smith Allen. She was known by everyone as “Momma Kay”. Her home was the neighborhood home and she enjoyed helping and serving those around her. Momma Kay was always looking for ways to serve those around her, but her family, especially the grandchildren came first. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends, but we will remember her every time we see a butterfly.
Momma Kay was also preceded in death by her infant son, Christopher Claude Vest and a brother, Harold Allen.
Survivors include her two children, Farah Vest and Allen Miller both of Columbus, GA; two siblings, Linda Keivens (Tom), San Diego, CA and Ricky Allen, Phenix City, AL; four grandchildren, Lydia, Dakota, Joseph and Ryen; nephews, David, Kurt, Ken, Christian, Jacob, Jeremy and Shane and their families; several other family members and friends also survive.
