Erma Jean Burgamy

Erma Jean Niles Burgamy, 83, of Columbus, GA passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Magnolia Manor in Columbus, GA.  A graveside service will be held in the Garden of the Last Supper at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Saturday, March 18, 2017 beginning at 3:00 P.M. EST.  The family will receive friends Friday, March 17, 2017 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA from 6:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. EST.  

Mrs. Burgamy was born March 7, 1934 in Brantley, AL to the late Gordon Niles and Rubye Elliott Niles.  She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She graduated from Central High School in Phenix City, AL.  She retired from State Farm Insurance as an Insurance Agent.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Burgamy is preceeded in death by her husband, Burt D. Burgamy. 

Survivors include her sons:  Jeffry D. Burgamy and Rodney Jason Burgamy; daughter in love, Tina Walker Burgamy; four grandsons; and three great grandchildren.  She will be forever missed.
