Franklin Corley

Franklin Corley, 82, of Phenix City, AL, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026. A visitation will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL 36867, on Thursday, April 2, 2026, 11:00 until 12:00 pm EDT. A private burial will take place at Lakeview Memory Gardens following.

Franklin Corley was born on December 30, 1943, in Boyle, Mississippi, to the late William W. Corley and Jewel McCool Corley.

In addition to his parents, Franklin is preceded in death by his wife of over 52 years, Emolene Corley.

He is survived by his children, Sherri Thornhill, Cindy Chaney and husband Trey, Jimmy Corley and wife Gina, and Frankie Corley; grandchildren, Amanda Prine, Stephanie Prine Cremeen, Corey Edward Prine, Scotty Whitt, Christopher Whitt, Jared Whitt, Courtney Mitchell (Chase), Anna Corley Kohen (Shane), William Corley (Renee), Victoria Cronk (Holden), Emily Cronk, and Jimmy Corley, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Christian Prine, Ava Cremeen, Bentley Lester, Jayce Cronk, Addilynn Cronk, and Devin Whitt, Lena Ray Swindle, Carley Swindle, Nicholas Cronk, Jr., Koe Whitt, Kyeton Kohen, Kynsli Kohen, and Mary Katherine Corley; along with numerous beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
