Gail Jessie Savage

Gail Jessie Savage, 87, of Columbus, GA, passed away peacefully Monday, May 12, 2014 at Magnolia Manor. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, 2014 beginning at 2:00 P.M. EST, at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. 31907. Chaplain Roy Isasi will be officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening May 13, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. EST at the funeral home. Gail Jessie Savage was born October 17, 1926 daughter of the late James Norwood Mears and Jessie Richards Mears in Altha, FL. Gail was a kind and caring woman who loved her brother and sister. Gail was a member of First Church of Nazarene. Other than her parents, Gail is preceded in death by her devoted husband Robert Savage; and sister, Joyce Beach. Survivors include sister, Mildred King and husband John, of Upatoi, GA; brother, Charles Mears and wife Jean, of Upatoi, GA; Gail is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many caring friends.
