George “Randy” Lewis, 66, of Phenix City, Al, passed away on November 25, 2025. A visitation will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, Al 36867, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 10:00 am EST, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am EST officiated by his close friend, Chris Jeffries.
Randy Lewis was born July 5th, 1959 in Phenix City, AL, to George Carter Lewis, Jr., and the late Mildred Marie Lewis. Randy graduated from Smiths Station High School and went on to become a Master Mechanic. He devoted himself wholeheartedly to running the family business, Lewis Service Center. Randy was known to spend most Sunday mornings on the golf course with his buddies. He loved riding his motorcycle down the winding roads of Pine Mountain. He never missed an Alabama football game or a chance to shout “Roll Tide!” Randy loved a home-cooked meal, and his wife of 44 years, Linda, always made sure to have one ready for him each night. Randy was loyal, trustworthy friend who was loved by everyone in his community. Above all, Randy loved his family, adored his grandchildren, and they treasured their Paw-Paw. Randy will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Other than his mother, Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, George Lewis, Sr., and Elvirey Glass Lewis, and Frank Knowles and Millie Sanders. Randy is survived by his father, George Carter Lewis, Jr.; beloved wife, Linda Lewis; daughters, Holly King (Brent), Kimberly Daniel, Jenna Hall (Kenneth), and Miranda Lewis (Tyler Brooks); sisters, Candy Miles, and Theresa McCain (Tom); brother, Danny Lewis (Libby); grandchildren, Bailey Daniel, Delaney Ferrone, Abby Ferrone, Colton Culpepper, Jackson Hall, Luke Culpepper, Trenton Hill, and Lydia Brooks; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
