George Michael Aster
July 22, 1946 — March 6, 2017
George Michael Aster, 70, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm EST Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel with Pastor Danny Ryals officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 at Vance Memorial.
Mr. Aster was born July 22, 1946 in Columbus, GA to Cleo Petway and the late George Paul Aster. He served in the US Navy and was a huge Alabama Football fan. Other than his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelli Michelle Aster.
He is survived by his son, Michael Paul Aster; sister, Teresa Ann Bellone; 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; nephew, Matthew Bellone: extended family, and many caring friends.
