Grace L. Mccoy

Grace L. McCoy, 92 of Canton, GA, passed away September 4, 2014, peacefully in her home. A funeral service will be held, Sunday, September 7, 2014, beginning at 5:00 P.M. EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, 31907. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 P.M. EST. at the funeral home. Grace McCoy was born January 12, 1922 in Brundidge, AL, daughter of the late Jessie Maughon and Rosa Bell Maughon. She was a Baptist by faith and attended Central Baptist Church. Other than her parents Grace is preceded in death by husband, Claud Harvey McCoy; son James Stallings Maughon. Survivors include, daughter Sharon McCoy Hart, of Atlanta, GA; sons, Gene McCoy Maulend (Martha) of L.A, CA, Max Maulend (Michelle) of Hilton Head, S.C; step daughter, Dolly McCoy Johnston, of Montgomery, AL; sister, Evelyn Sellers of Atmore, AL; six grandchildren and twelve great- grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
