Grason Lewis Saulters, age 62, resident of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital, Phenix City. Private services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Saulters, son of Billie Grace Mauldin Saulters and the late Huston Lewis Saulters, was born June 22, 1959 in Cumberland, North Carolina. He was an automobile mechanic by trade and a man who enjoyed being outside in nature. Mr. Saulters was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and was actively involved with the Amen Choir. He enjoyed fishing; grilling; being a handy-man around the house; and particularly enjoyed repairing bicycles for his grandchildren. Mr. Saulters would also enjoy spending time watching classic western movies and Alabama football, but most of all he enjoyed spending quality time with his family.
His family remembers him as a man who loved God, had a great sense of humor, and possessing a big heart – always willing to help anyone.
Mr. Saulters is survived by his wife of over 36 years, Jennifer Saulters of Phenix City; five daughters, Melissa Chandler of Midland City, Alabama, Rachel Riddle and her husband Kyle of Phenix City, Jessica Ibarra and her husband Miguel of Phenix City, Kimberly Henderson and her husband Jonathan of Salem, Alabama, and Regina Saulters also of Phenix City; two sons, Matt Saulters of Hatchechubbee, Alabama and Jonathan Saulters of Phenix City; two sisters, Sonja Hood and her husband Hugh of Seale, Alabama and Kerry Saulters and her husband Kevin Edwards of Auburn, Alabama; two brothers, Huston Saulters, II and his wife Laura of Phenix City and Mike Saulters and his wife Chris of Webb, Alabama; 11 grandchildren, Oren Saulters, Faruza Sanders, Logan Matthew Saulters, Brooke Danielle Saulters, Kadyn Matthew Saulters, Ava Grace Riddle, Emma Kate Riddle, Lila Jane Riddle, Sawyer Reed Riddle, Hazel June Riddle, and Maximo Emiliano Ibarra; many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Lakewood Baptist Church, ATTN; Amen Choir/Missions, 4011 Lakewood Drive, Phenix City, Alabama 36867.
