Helen Hall McCullar, 88, of Phenix City, AL died at her residence on Sunday, January 16, 2022.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 20, 2022 with Rev. Mike Turner officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. A private interment will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Columbus, GA.
Mrs. McCullar was born June 16, 1933 in Phenix City, AL daughter of the late Jasper A. Hall and Ada Melton Hall. She owned McCullar Real Estate where she enjoyed helping people find their dream home. Mrs. McCullar was a faithful and dedicated member of the Phenix City Board of Realtors for over 30 years. While she had no children of her own, she graciously “adopted” several children and their families. Her impact on our community was profound, however her impact on those who knew her was even greater. She will be missed, but never forgotten.
Mrs. McCullar was preceded in death by her parents, and husband of over 65 years, Andrew Noel McCullar.
Survivors include her cousin, Mary Allison (Jerry) of Iron Dale, AL; “adopted” daughter Amy McCormick (Robert); three “adopted” grandchildren, Amber, Ashley and Britney Folds; special family friend, Jorja Loftin; several other “adopted” children and friends.
