Henry Allen Cannon

Henry Allen Cannon, 81, of Columbus, Ga passed away June 17, 2014. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday June 20, 2014 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907. Reverend Thomas Pope will be officiating. Interment will conclude at Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation was held Thursday June 19, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Henry Cannon is preceded in death by; parents, William A. Cannon and Sula Cannon; children, Jackie Newman and Donnie Newman; brother, William Wade Cannon. Henry Allen is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Cannon, of Columbus, GA; daughter, Cheryl Lee Cannon, of Spartenburg, S.C; sons, Mike Cannon of Aubrey, TX; Robert “Bobby” Wayne Newman and wife Kim, of Phenix City, AL; sister, Clara Shobert, of Arlington, TX; brothers, Lonnie Cannon and wife Peggy of Columbus, GA, James Cannon and wife, Linda of Phenix City, AL; grandchildren, Heather Kite and husband Shane of Smiths, AL, Trey Newman, of Columbus, GA, and Tayler Newman, of Phenix City, AL; great-grand daughter, Haleigh Kite of Smiths, AL. Mr. Cannon also leaves behind many loving extended relatives and caring friends.
