Mr. Spear was born December 02, 1939 in Phenix City, AL son of the late James Spear and Nellie Morgan Spear; however he was raised by his uncle and aunt, Wilkie and Willie Harrington. He had retired from Kellog’s (Sunshine) after 47 years of committed service as a machinist, and he served as the Bakers Union President for four years.  Mr. Spear was an avid Alabama Football Fan and enjoyed game day fun with family and friends. He was also a mechanic who could fix just about any car motor he worked on. Mr. Spear also loved Fords and especially his 1964 ½ Mustang.
