James “Jimbo” William Streetman, Jr.

James “Jimbo” William Streetman, Jr., 67, of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 23, 2023, in Phenix City, AL.
Jimbo was born July 13, 1956, in Columbus, son of the late James William Streetman, Sr. and Martha Ann Rutherford Streetman. He was employed with Phenix Lumber Company with 20 plus years of dedicated service. He was a 1974 Graduate of Central High School and a native of the Phenix City/Russell County Community. Jimbo liked staying busy, working was a part of his joy and his everyday personality. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and was a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a Christian by faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Lyndee Williams of Smiths Station, AL, three sisters, Cheryl Tomlinson of Columbus, GA, Joelyn Cail and husband Bryan of Salem, AL, and Jaime Dyer and husband Jason of Phenix City, AL, one brother, Jason Streetman and wife Jessica of Dillard, GA, and one very precious granddaughter, Charlee Grace Williams, several nieces, nephews, and numerous extended family members, and many caring friends.
A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday evening, August 30, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm EDT at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City. Jimbo’s family will hold a private memorial celebration of love to honor his life and memory in a very special place.
