Jamilyn E. Gary Smith, 27, Phenix City, AL. passed away December 29, 2013. Graveside services will be held, Tuesday January 7, 2013 beginning at 1:00 PM EST at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. Jamilyn was born June 27, 1986 daughter of James Merrill Gary and Vicki Smith Gary, in Columbus, GA. Jamilyn was a loving daughter, mother, sister and friend and will be dearly missed. Jamilyn is preceded in death by grandfathers, J.L. Gary and J.V. Smith; uncle, James Isom II; great uncle Lavon J. Gary, and great aunt Marie Gary. Jamilyn is survived by her parents James and Vicki Gary; her children, Summerlyn Smith and Justin Sykes, Jr; siblings, Gwendolyn Bates, Joe Gary and Anthony Gary; grandmothers, Mazie White, Janice Smith, and Geraldline Zula, and many extended family members and caring friends.
