Jane Renee Langner

Jane Renee Langner, 79, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, May 18, 2024, in the comfort of her home in Phenix City.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm EDT Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Rev. Dan Elkins officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to her service on Wednesday at the funeral home in Phenix City.
Ms. Langner was born April 27, 1945, in New Orleans, LA, daughter of the late Victor Nichol and Martha “Marty’” Jones Nichol.  She was a lady of great character who was deeply devoted to her family.  She found immense joy spending time with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren sharing special moments and stories.  She enjoyed traveling, watching old movies, and sipping on her sweet tea.  She was a Christian and a member of First Baptist Church in Phenix City.
She is survived by four daughters, Kathryn Langner Wall, husband Rob of Birmingham, AL, Karen Langner Hazelwood husband Dewayne of Pell City, AL, Merrigail Langner Copeland of Phenix City; and Michelle Ruckman and husband Sean of Phenix City, AL; one brother, Victor Nichol and wife Janis of Birmingham, AL, Six grandchildren, Karoline Jane Traynor (DJ), Kaitlyn Franklin (Hayden),  Elizabeth Davis, Julia Rutledge (Riley), Carter Langner Copeland, and Michael Eugene Ruckman, Six great-grandchildren, Mason, Owen, Baker, Hayes, Kolton, Dallas, and one precious one on the way; two nephews, Drew Nichol, and Michael Nichol;  other extended family members and many caring friends.
