Jared Isaac Gansauer of Phenix City, AL and formerly of Centre Hall, PA was welcomed into the arms of his Savior, Jesus, early Saturday morning, December 28, 2024, at the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital in Birmingham.
He was born April 4, 1982, in State College, PA, the son of Eric and Rita Luanne Gansauer (Robinson) of Phenix City. He was a 2000 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and spending time with family. A member of Phenix City First Assembly of God Church, he was involved the Men’s ministry as well as participating in several mission trips to South and Central America.
He is survived by his parents, Eric and Rita Gansauer; his sister, Emily Corman and husband Philip of Centre Hall; niece, Berlin Corman; nephew, Noah Corman; Uncle, Kurt Gansauer and wife Susan; cousins, Erin Cusumano (David) and Jonathan Gansauer along with other extended family.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the Barbara Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Centre Hall from 11am - 12 noon. A funeral service will immediately follow at noon with Pastor Zac McDonald officiating. A graveside service will be held at the Graysville Cemetery in Pennsylvania Furnace.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Phenix City First Assembly of God Missions fund, the Access Church, State College missions fund, or the charity of your choice.
