Jennifer C. Clegg, 51, of Smiths Station, AL passed away Friday morning, January 26, 2024, in the comfort of her home in Smiths Station.

Jennifer was born October 29, 1972, in Columbus, GA. She is the daughter of Judith Anita Garrett Jacobs and Grover Clegg.  She was employed with Smokey Pig BBQ in Phenix City and enjoyed helping and visiting with all their customers that visited each week.  She enjoyed playing lotto games, watching Harry Potter movies, listening to music, and loved flowers.  In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball, and loved watching the Atlanta Braves.  She was a Baptist by faith.

She is survived by her mother, Anita Jacobs; her loving husband of 35 years, Curtis Eugene Grier; three children, Blake Grier (Delaney), Matthew Grier, and Madison Grier (Randy Gilmore); one sister, Donna Crider; two precious grandchildren, Serenity and Daisy and one little one on the way due anytime, Thomas Walker; nieces, Misti Bone (Todd), Summer Crider, Bonnie Thomas, and Allison Thomas; nephew, Shayne Crider, loved as a sister and best friend, Stacy Wilson; numerous other loving family members and many caring friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EST at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City.  A private burial will take place in a very special place of remembrance.
