Jeremy Todd Fincher, 48, of Opelika, AL died at his home on Wednesday, October 01, 2025.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 08, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM (EST) at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Mr. Fincher was born November 24, 1976, in Columbus, GA son of the late Billy Wayne Fincher and Margie Sue Smith Fincher. He was the owner of Fincher Trucking.
Jeremy was a talker; he met no strangers and was never at a loss for words. He was also funny and quick-witted. It was hard to get one over on him and he was often quoted as saying, “You got to get up real early to get one on me.” Jeremy was also a helper. He was never afraid to offer assistance when the need arose.
He was always guiding us with wisdom that will echo through our lives. His presence was steady, his laughter unforgettable, and his love immeasurable. He was a man of patience and humility, who found joy in simple moments-family dinners, long talks, and the laughter of his children. He showed us what it meant to be strong in hardship and gentle in love. His memory will not fade; it will live on in the lives he touched and the hearts that loved him.
Mr. Fincher was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Wayne and Margie Sue Fincher and a brother, James Hubert “Jamie” Fincher.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Kristen Ann Fincher, Opelika, AL; four children, Jeremiah Wyatt Fincher (Maggie Drew), Jilian Leorra Fincher (Trevor Spivey), Brennan Colby Fincher and Lilly LeAnn Fincher all of Opelika, AL; special nephew, Michael Gunter; one sister, Ginger Fincher and one brother, Jason Wayne Fincher; several other family members and friends.
