Jessica Fuller McFarland, 54, of Talbotton, GA, passed away at Warm Springs Medical Center in Warm Springs, GA.
Arrangements are pending and will be announced soon according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Ms. McFarland was born on May 14, 1971, in Columbus, GA, the daughter of Marvin Fuller, Jr. and the late Sina Underwood. She was a part owner of Newberry Handy Man Services.
Jessica loved animals and never met one she didn’t want to pet or shower with affection whenever possible. She also enjoyed tending to flowers and trees in her yard. She was full of energy; Jessica rarely slowed down and brought life wherever she went. She loved making homemade fudge for family and friends and enjoyed listening to music, which was often playing wherever she was. Those simple joys brought her happiness and became treasured memories for the people who loved her.
She will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family and her ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere. Although she left us far sooner than expected, she leaves behind a lasting mark on the lives of those who knew and loved her.
Ms. McFarland was preceded in death by her mother, Sina Underwood and her sister, Casandra “Cassie” Helewski.
Survivors in addition to her dad, Marvin Fuller, Jr. (Kim Wheeler) include her daughter, Cristen León (Elvin) of Fortson, GA; her fiancé, Kenneth Brandon Newberry; two sisters, Angela Bonner (Mike) and Stephanie Parks; nieces and nephews, Meagan Tuel, Lauren Scott, Justin Thomas, Kelsie Bottoms, Zachery Helewski, and Shae; along with several other family members and friends.
