Jettie Belinda “Lindy” Moore Parrish, 68, of Phenix City, AL died at Columbus Hospice House, Columbus, GA on Saturday, July 23, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM (EST) on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 with Rev. Marvin Minton officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. A private interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Parrish was born April 7, 1954 in Valley, AL daughter of the late Billy Hugh Moore and Jettie Jones Moore. She had retired from the Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist. Lindy was an active member of Crawford Road Baptist Church and their Children’s Ministry. She loved to minister to the children with puppets sharing the Gospel of Christ. Lindy had also worked with children at North Highland and Seale Road Baptist. She was an accomplished artist, creating many beautiful paintings, playing the piano and singing. The most unique picture she ever painted was the beautiful life she lived with us. Thank you for the wonderful times we shared.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Dennis Parrish, Phenix City, AL; daughter, Krysten Walker-Burnham (Travis), Phenix City, AL; two sons, Jake Baker (Charlotte), Valley, AL and Dan Baker (Jenny McCartney), Hogansville, GA; two brothers, Rusty Moore (Kathy), Hughley, AL and Chuck Moore (Jill), Valley, AL; twelve wonderful grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
