Jody Kay Jensen

Jody Kay Jensen, 58, of Columbus, GA passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital. A memorial service will be held at a future date.

Jody was born on July 28, 1964 in Spring Green, Wisconsin to Cletus and Gertrude Hooks. She was the Payroll Manager for several years at the Gordon Flesch Company. Jody’s hobbies included sewing, making stained glass, and breeding her bird dogs, Ruby and Greta. Jody was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Reedsburg, Wisconsin.

Survivors include her son Jeremy Zimmerman, daughter-in-law Crystal Zimmerman, and grandson Jalyn, all of Columbus, Georgia; niece Ashley Stone, her husband Wayne Stone, and their children Dayton, Kaleb, Addison, and Tucker. Jody is preceded in death by her mother and father.

Arrangements are being handled by Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Columbus.
