John Thomas Woods

John Thomas Woods, 66, of Phenix City, AL died at Columbus Piedmont Midtown on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.

A Private Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. 

Mr. Woods was born September 13, 1958 in Ft. Jackson, SC son of the late Linnie E. Woods, Sr. and Nannie Mann Woods. He was a skilled electrician and fixer working in various manufacturing facilities in Maryland before moving to Phenix City, AL to care for his mother. 

Mr. Woods was preceded in death by his parents, Linnie and Nannie Woods and one brother, Linnie E. Woods, Jr. and a brother-in-law, Randy Jennings.

Survivors include his two daughters, Amanda Woods and Sonia Walter both of NC; his brother, Wallace Woods, VA and a sister, Patsy Jennings, SC ; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
