Juanita Senn Morgan

Juanita Ann Senn Morgan, 93, of Seale, AL, entered her heavenly home on June 22, 2025. A funeral service will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 Hwy 431 N, Phenix City, AL 36867, on Wednesday day, June 25, 2025, at 2:00 pm EST officiated by Rev. Brady Baird.

Juanita was born on November 2, 1931, in Pike County, AL, to the late Nodus W. Senn and Myrtle Boutwell Senn. She married the love of her life, Elie Monroe Morgan with whom she had two sons, Phillip and Roger. Juanita loved her children and taking care of them. She would steam their clothes regularly when she worked for Schobilt as a seamstress until their closing. Juanita then worked for Kemet Electronics as a supervisor in quality control until retirement. Juanita loved gardening, especially her 54 knockout roses that lined the property and bloomed vibrantly under her watchful eye. Her love of flowers led to her owning Flowers by Juanita where she tended to flowers daily and she especially loved doing events for family and friends. She was the former President of Union Carbide Retirees and the former Choir Director of Seale Baptist Church. Juanita was a devout Christian and prioritized her relationship with the Lord. She was full of stories and had a bubbly personality. Juanita was full of life and positively impacted those around her with her uplifting spirit. She was one of 12 children and remained close to her siblings over the years. Juanita would grab any of her available siblings and go to her condo at Panama City Beach to catch up any opportunity she had. Even if no one was available, she would drive herself at 80+ years old to spend a few days at the beach. Juanita was a special woman and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Juanita is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elie Monroe Morgan; son, Phillip Monroe Morgan; parents, Nodus W. Senn and Myrtle Boutwell Senn; sisters, Frances Anderson, Elvernice Fuller, Colene Harris, Buna Andrews, and Cleone Rogers; and brothers, Lester Senn, Wayne Senn, Raymond Senn, James T. Senn, and Randal Senn.

Juanita is survived by her son, Roger Morgan (Sandra); grandchildren, Amanda Morgan, Mathew Morgan, and Mark Grant; sister, Vaughn Lowery; and many many nieces and nephews.
