Julian Lee Morris

Julian Lee Morris, age 62 of Phenix City, AL passed away early Sunday morning on January 29, 2023 in the comfort of his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am EST on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Pastor Richie Ashburn officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EST at the funeral home in Phenix City.

Julian was born November 3, 1960 in Phenix City, AL. He was the son of the late Marion Julian Morris and Addie Pearl Pinkston Morris. He was self-employed serving the surrounding community in maintenance and remodeling. He enjoyed watching old western movies, gambling just a bit, collecting marbles and shot glasses, the outdoors and watching the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a Christian by faith.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Michelle Jeanne Shaffer Morris; sons, Julian Lee Morris, II and wife Melissa, Nicholas Hill and wife Lisa, Stephen Hill, and Jonathan Hill and wife Sadé; daughters, Danelle Fagan and husband Phillip, Christina Williams and husband Larry, Amanda Hill and husband Clifford, Melissa Hill Morris and husband Lee, and Alicia Mote and husband David; brothers, Brent Morris and wife Regina, Barry Morris and wife Ursula, and Michael Morris and wife Brooke; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and many caring friends.
