Kasey Nichole Hartley

Kasey Nichole Hartley, 34, of Opelika, AL died at her home on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

A Private Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

Kasey was born March 04, 1991, in Tallahassee, FL daughter of Jimmy Hartley and the late Theresa Lynn Marshall. She worked for Checks Into Cash as a manager.

Kasey was always smiling and looking for ways to make others laugh even when she was not at her best. She seemed to always have a corny joke to share or something funny to say. She loved crafting whether drawing, painting or writing because it was relaxing.

We will always remember her smile and that she was strong. She tried to be the best mom she could, and we are thankful for this. We will miss you mom, but we will always cherish you in our hearts and memories.

Kasey was preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Lynn Marshall.

Survivors other than her dad, Jimmy Hartley, FL, include her three children, Brooklyn Hartley, Columbus, GA. Makynzli Burton and Karson Gray both of Smith Sation, AL; a sister, Shelby Hartley; three brothers, James McDonald, Christopher Jenkins and Tyler Hartley; several other family members and friends.
