Kelly Ann Hudgins

Kelly Ann Hudgins, 61, of Phenix City, AL, passed away on August 29, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm (EST) on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL 36867.

Kelly was born in Valley, AL, to Mary Richardson and the late Ralph Leininger. Kelly loved tending to her house. She would decorate, do household hobbies, and paint to make her home a resort for peace and quiet. Kelly loved flowers and kept her yard looking immaculate. She was a great cook and had a great sense of humor. Kelly had a big heart and was very outgoing. Most of all, she loved her family. Kelly will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Kelly Ann Hudgins was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Leininger; brother, Michael Leininger, and stepdaughter, Abra Hudgins.

Kelly is survived by her beloved husband, Wendell Hudgins; mother, Mary Richardson (James); son, Steven Bowens (Cathy); stepdaughter, Kemmie Hudgins; sister, Lisa Lawrence (Michael); and grandson, Maxwell Bowens.
